Depending on the case, issue, or need, we offer an hourly rate or a flat rate. We keep detailed logs of the time we spend on your case. We count in ten minute increments and round down when in-between them. Work logs are disclosed with detail in invoices which we send out on Fridays. We only work for as long as a case, issue or need requires, so you’ll never be overbilled for unproductive time. Retainer agreements with specific terms of engagement need to be signed before any work can be completed.

We also offer special rates from time to time for consultations, because sometimes you just need to talk to someone to get some direction, without feeling like you want to commit to a law firm for the long haul. It’s ok; our clients come back on their own time and again, and we are happy to earn their trust through providing excellent service. We also offer consultations for law students, in the form of tutoring, and for young lawyers, in the form of career mentorship, because we were there once, before we were here.
