Jeff Fucci, Esq.
Founder and CEO Jeff Fucci has represented private businesses, municipalities, school boards, public entities and individuals, working for solo practitioners and large corporate law firms before taking the leap to provide his own brand of legal services to clients through J. Fucci Law, LLC.
Since the start of his practice, Mr. Fucci has clerked for the Hon. Ernest M. Caposela, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court, Passaic Vicinage, where he was responsible for advising His Honor on the disposition of civil motions, foreclosure cases and condemnation actions, and where he was able to take advantage of the opportunities the clerkship offered to mediate cases in the landlord/tenant and small claims courts within the Special Civil Division.
After clerking, Mr. Fucci was approached by several private law firms throughout northern New Jersey and brought on as an Associate Attorney to represent some of New Jersey’s largest municipalities, businesses and individuals in a variety of legal matters including Title 59 lawsuits, collective bargaining negotiations, and other labor and employment matters. Later, while working as Counsel to a boutique labor and employment firm in Montclair, New Jersey, Mr. Fucci was assigned to assist the firm in all aspects of representation and litigation in hostile workplace, wage and hour, worker’s compensation, breach of contract, and workplace discrimination cases based on race, sex, gender, gender expression, gender identity, age, disability, religion, and other protected classifications. In growing his own business, Mr. Fucci has maintained a keen awareness of the needs of people, fueled in part by his experiences working in the labor and employment space.
Today, these experiences are always in play as Mr. Fucci strives to make sure that he always presents the law as something understandable, accessible, and above all, fair.
Mr. Fucci is a graduate of Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS)’s dual degree program, where he earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Masters of Environmental Law and Policy (M.E.L.P.). Before attending VLGS, Mr. Fucci earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from Seton Hall University, where he also earned his undergraduate degree, and has returned in recent years to teach as an adjunct professor. Inspired by the social justice and advocacy work of his VLGS peers doing incredible things across the world, Mr. Fucci enrolled in VLGS’s Certificate in Restorative Justice Program during the Summer of 2022, which he hopes to complete by Summer of 2023.
When he is not working for his clients, Mr. Fucci enjoys a good book and a good movie, visits to the dog park with his four-legged companion Wolfie, growing epic cacti, and seeing where the road takes his Jeep next.
